Departmental Information

The department is manned by physicians with expertise in ventilatory care and provides advanced care with the support of the hospital infrastructure including intensive care units of different specialties, state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and technology, bronchoscopy, endoscopy and 24 x 7 support of radiology, modern laboratory, high-end imaging facilities, a 24 x 7 operational blood bank, an extremely efficient dialysis unit and an emergency unit. The aim is to provide long term comprehensive care and manage both common and complex illnesses.

This Department provides a broad range of services for diagnosis and treatment by doctors skilled in the management of patients who have undifferentiated or multi-system disease processes. It has round-the-clock back-up from allied departments like cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, nephrology and psychiatry.
