Special Interests and Expertise:

• Dr Priyadarshini Kulkarni is a Palliative Care specialist, and heads Symbiosis Centre for Supportive and Assisted care. She is Anaesthesiologist by training, and has about 24 years of experience in the field.
• Apart from completing her education in Anaesthesiology, she has completed Diploma in Palliative Care from Flinders’ University, Australia, and MSc in Palliative Medicine from Cardiff University, UK.
• She is a fellow of National Cancer Centre, Singapore and has been an awardee of Leadership Development Initiative from San Diego Hospice, California, USA.
• She has contributed significantly on the boards of Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC), Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN), and worldwide Hospice and Palliative Care Network (WHPCA)
• Her Passion for relieving suffering and improving quality of life of patients and family members, suffering from life limiting illness has got her involved in education and training in this field and she is currently mentoring on CTC training program with AIIMS Delhi, and Clinical leadership fellowship program. Her special interest areas are end of life care, advance care planning and Grief and Bereavement care.
