A successful "Hands-on Laparoscopic Hysterectomy Workshop" was conducted at SUHRC & SMCW in collaboration with Team Galaxy, led by Dr. Shailesh Puntambekaron 16th October 2024. The workshop saw the participation of 14 national and international delegates, including 3 from Bulgaria, as well as delegates from Bangalore, Delhi, Panipat, Mumbai, and Pune. The focus was on retroperitoneal pelvic dissection as part of radical hysterectomy training, with 11 cases performed across 4 OTs. Young gynecologists and residents from SMCW & SUHRC's Department of OBGY also received hands-on training. The workshop was highly appreciated for its organization, infrastructure, and learning experience, marking a resounding success for SUHRC and SMCW.
