Blood transfusion saves lives and improves health, yet many patients in need of transfusion face challenges in accessing safe blood in a timely manner. Recognizing this critical issue, SMCW & SUHRC is organizing a Blood Donation Drive as part of Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) on account of International Student’s Day.
This year, the International theme is "Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often!" for the Blood Donation Drive (BDD). The theme highlights the importance of supporting patients who require lifelong transfusion support and emphasizes the significant role each individual can play by generously donating blood or plasma.
